As smoke crept across the runway the Trends show doors opened to a truly mystical world. Think puffy marshmallow dresses, bright floral embellishments, tulle trims, furry frills and psychedelic statements.
The SS14 collection, ‘Mushroom Magic’ was sweet and sugary in essence, taking the fashion runway experience to a whole new level. Designers of Romance Was Born, Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales are known for their elaborate performance like shows, and the new line did not disappoint.
And neither did the shoes! The amazing shoes of prey were a vibrant and frilly finish on an extravagant line that just kept getting better.
On a serious note, sheer was big on the runway this week and Romance Was Born put a 70′s spin on the sexy trend. We’ve seen it with Karla Spetic, Christopher Esber and Alice McCall and we’ll continue to see it as we head into Melbourne Spring Fashion Week next week.
